IMAGE ISSUES MAKE OR BREAK ALLIANCES ACCORDING TO JUDITH RASBAND, DIRECTOR, CONSELLE INSTITUTE OF IMAGE MANAGEMENT

PROVO, UT (JUNE 2003): "Positive communication skills are essential in personal and professional roles, helping to establish, support, and maintain successful relationships at home and around the world," according to Judith Rasband, Director of the Conselle Institute of Image Management. Rasband recently returned from the national conference of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI). She was the first, and is one of only four AICI members certified at the Master level (CIM). Rasband conducted a workshop titled "How to Facilitate a Knockout Image Critique" to educate, challenge, and elevate participants professionally."

The casualization of America, the tragedies of September 11, and the current economic decline, have combined to create worldwide uncertainty. With this comes the opportunity to refocus on important aspects of satisfying human relationships and effective interpersonal communications," notes Rasband. Conselle offers educational materials, seminars, workshops, short courses, and special events programs, individual services, and private consulting for those in need of image assistance and education.

Rasband notes that image issues that often make or break alliances include slouched posture, sloppy casual clothes, bad manners and rudeness. It is a lack of attention to detail in such areas as dress and grooming that can communicate a lack of attention to detail in the business world.
