Setting out with a degree in fine art
from the University of Illinois, Sandy Moore has spent her
adult life in creative pursuits, concentrating much of her energy
in the image-related fields of photography and fiber arts. While
creating custom-dyed fabrics for several West-Coast fashion designers
and designing and producing several lines of her own wearable art,
she developed a keen appreciation for clothing as both an expression
of the individual and a powerful resource for reaching personal/professional
goals.
In preparation for a private consulting business, Sandy studied
at the Conselle Institute of Image Management, where she honed her
knowledge of the artistic, physical, social, and psychological aspects
of dress. Sandy makes everyone who comes to her studio feel
welcome and well taken care of. Open to the lively exchange of ideas,
she is known to engage in a spirited debate on important image issues.
Body image issues and the need for a flattering fit often
occupy her efforts. She is committed to guiding the individual
to clothing style selections that enhance and empower the wearer.
She encourages her clients to make image and wardrobe choices based
upon personal preference and lifestyle, guiding them towards the
achievement of authenticity and visual harmony. Because she
loves what is beautiful, she has been known to throw practical considerations
to the wind and give in to the seductive appeal of a gorgeous garment.
She relishes the opportunity of sharing with you the grand
feeling of finding a treasurea fabulous piece of clothing
that makes you feel transformed when you slip it on!
